Adjust Your Audio!

Audio plays on the Splash Screen and Title Screen from the beginning. Be sure to adjust your sound levels before launching Culture Overlord.

Game Preferences

When you play in your browser, Culture Overlord will automatically fill your browser window. This helps the game run more consistently in different browsers. 

You also have the option of playing the game full-screen as well. Go to the "Preferences" menu on the Title Screen or select "prefs" in the bottom-center of your screen during gameplay. On the Preferences Screen you can select between Window and Fullscreen display settings. The Preferences Screen also offers audio options as well as the option to save your game or to load a previously saved game.

Discovery Mode & EDU Mode

Culture Overlord is an award-winning game about media literacy and we're excited that it's now available for browser play.  Culture Overlord is a short game and is intended to be played multiple times. 

We suggest you first play in Discovery Mode to focus on the story. Next, we suggest playing in EDU Mode to learn more about advertisements, social media, and the impacts and influences these have on all of us.
